DeFi

Delta Prime Launches Avalanche’s first DeFi Prime Brokerage

Highly anticipated DeFi dApp for under-collateralized decentralized borrowing, Delta Prime launched on Avalanche this month. The protocol is on a mission to unlock trapped liquidity and simplify a user's portfolio management experience, while promoting capital efficiency for Avalanche DeFi users through cross-margin trading and liquidity provision on whitelisted protocols.

SocialFi Marketplace, STFX, Makes Its Way To Avalanche

STFX – Single Trade Finance Exchange – is a DeFi and SocialFi protocol for short-term asset management that allows users to share and participate in each others’ trading ideas. The protocol is pioneering a concept called Single Trade Vaults, which are short-duration, non-custodial, active asset management vaults dedicated to one trade. BTC.b Steams Ahead, Surpassing the Lightning Network

BTC.b on Avalanche gained increased visibility this month when its circulating supply surpassed that of the Lightning Network. BTC.b is a secure and decentralized form of Bitcoin that can be used in DeFi, thanks to the Avalanche network. It allows Bitcoin holders to use their tokens productively across a variety of applications, including to earn passive income or to use as active collateral. This follows the emerging trend of BTC holders starting to put their holdings to work on-chain. Read more here.

Enterprise & Institutions

Amazon Web Services (AWS) #ChoseAvalanche To Help Scale Blockchain Adoption for Builders, Enterprises, and Governments

AWS will support Avalanche’s infrastructure and dApp ecosystem, alongside one-click node deployments (one-click subnet deployment forthcoming!). Among other features, the partnership will also include Ava Labs’ joining AWS Activate, which helps startups get started on the platform, as well as collaboration on future hackathons and other events. Intain launches Avalanche Subnet to User in New Era for Multi-Trillion Dollar Securitized Finance Market

Intain, a structured finance platform that facilitates administration of $5.5B in assets, has launched IntainMARKETS, an on-chain marketplace for tokenized asset-backed securities, on an Avalanche Subnet. Selected as a finalist in the Wells Fargo Innovation Challenge 2022, Intain brings existing partnerships with two of the top ten trust banks for U.S. securitizations, WSFS Bank and UMB Bank. Turkish EV Maker Togg #ChoseAvalanche for Smart Contract-Based Mobility Services

Turkish electronic vehicle (EV) manufacturer Togg is partnering with Ava Labs to build smart contract-based services targeted toward improving autonomous mobility and producing cars with greater functionality. The initiative aims to equip vehicles with a secure digital wallet, provide bank-level security, and quick access to a vehicles’ service history, part tracking, carbon footprint, insurance claims, and more.

Ready Player DAO, a top Web3 gaming guild, is making a major push into Avalanche gaming. The Web3 gaming guild is driving written, video, and influencer content for Avalanche games and deploying its own node. The goal: to tell the world about the amazing games being built on Avalanche and onboard new and existing users into the world of Web3 gaming.

Stardust Will Enable Games To Add NFTs Simply and Seamlessly Using Avalanche

Stardust–a major gaming infrastructure platform–provides convenient wallet and low-code NFT tools and has teamed up with Ava Labs on an accelerator to drive game development for Web2 game developers and new Web3-native studios. With just a few lines of code, game developers can integrate NFTs into their games, while leveraging the high performance of #Avalanche with fast transaction speeds, Subnet scalability and customization. Millions of Shopify Merchants Can Now Leverage Avalanche NFTs Through Venly

The e-commerce giant now lets its merchants design, mint, and sell Avalanche-based NFTs. Avalanche NFTs are now available to millions of Shopify merchants through Venly Shopify NFT, a merchant app. Merchants can easily design, mint, and sell NFTs in just a few clicks, diversifying their stores offerings to customers. Artist Spotlight: Gunnar Tarsa’s Chaotic Scribbing

In just over six months as an NFT artist, Scribble Warlock has released more than 10 collections on Avalanche, including more than 650 1-of-1 abstract illustrations, many with repeat themes and characters, and set in an interlinked universe known as the Chromasphere.

Infrastructure & Enablement

New Avalanche Ledger App Released

The latest Avalanche Ledger and Ledger Live apps have been fully rebuilt from the ground up. The new design for the Ledger Avalanche apps focuses on getting users quickly to their desired action while keeping crypto assets and NFTs secure. The update improves the experience for signing P, C, and X-Chain transactions, validation and delegation, and connecting to Subnets. Read more here.
