DeFi SteakHut V2 Introduces New Liquidity Features on Avalanche SteakHut, a platform for active liquidity management and decentralized market-making, has launched SteakHut Liquidity V2 on the Avalanche C-Chain. SteakHut Liquidity is live on Uniswap v3 on the Avalanche C-Chain, allowing users to access and manage tailored liquidity strategies across all major concentrated liquidity market makers (CLMMs). SteakHut came into the Avalanche ecosystem in November 2023 with a seed round led partly by Blizzard. Launching V2 on Avalanche fuels the next generation of active liquidity management, bringing potentially higher capital efficiency and tailored strategies to DeFi. Learn more here. DeltaPrime Uses Rush Funds To Boost the Adoption of Its GMX V2-Based Products Available on Avalanche DeltaPrime entered the Avalanche Rush ecosystem through GMX incentives, supporting the growth of the GM pools on Avalanche. DeltaPrime will reward users who lend their funds to the GM pools it has integrated — deepening the liquidity for traders on GMX. Learn more here. Enterprise & Institutions Citi Tests Benefits of Private Markets Tokenization With Avalanche Evergreen Subnet ‘Spruce’ Less than a year ago, Ava Labs launched Avalanche Spruce, an Evergreen Subnet purpose-built for buy- and sell-side institutions to measure the benefits of on-chain finance. Citi and DTCC Digital Assets joined the network, testing the benefits of private market tokenization with key asset managers Wellington Management and WisdomTree. Alongside Wellington Management, WisdomTree, and ABN AMRO, Citi used Avalanche Spruce to showcase the potential for re-architecting capital markets and enhancing financial services via tokenization, smart contracts, and blockchain rails. The Empire State Building Launches NFT Loyalty Program on Avalanche Using Uptop Uptop, a premier Web3 loyalty and rewards platform, is launching an innovative NFT-based ambassador program for the Empire State Building, owned and operated by ESRT. NFTs will be built on Avalanche, unlocking greater speed and security for the 4M+ annual visitors to New York’s most iconic building. Uptop has crafted a streamlined blockchain experience using the fast, flexible Avalanche network, smoothly fitting blockchain into ESRT’s technology framework. Gaming Merit Circle Announces Three New Games Three new games are coming to Beam through Merit Circle, including Moontropica, Monsters Rocket, and Nekoverse. NFTs & Culture Avalanche Foundation Announces Return of Avaissance AIR Program The Avalanche Foundation is bringing back its popular Artists in Residence program for a second season. The first season ran from June to September 2023 and enrolled 65 artists from a pool of over 1.3K applicants. All artists are invited to apply to the program, regardless of their Web3 or Avalanche experience. Selected applicants will receive a stipend and workshops led by blockchain art professionals. Looty Joins Forces with Inspect.xyz to Reward Avalanche’s NFT Community The Avalanche Foundation recently announced plans to support Looty, a loyalty platform that recently launched a gamified loyalty and rewards platform on Avalanche, and Inspect in offering awards to the Avalanche NFT community. Looty and Inspect have joined hands to power the Looty-Inspect rewards program, which runs parallel to the Hyperspace NFT incentive program and offers Avalanche NFT holders a chance to leverage their Inspect rankings to compete for rewards. Infrastructure & Enablement Durango: Avalanche Warp Messaging Comes to the EVM The pre-release code for a proposed upgrade to the Avalanche Network, Durango, was published for activation on the Fuji Testnet. Set to activate on Avalanche’s Mainnet on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11 AM ET, Durango introduces Avalanche Warp Messaging to the C-Chain, bringing native cross-chain communication to every EVM Chain in the Avalanche Ecosystem and establishing a standard for future VMs to communicate using AWM. Snowpeer Launches First ACP Tracking Dashboard Snowpeer, a full-feature Avalanche analytics platform, is offering an accessible interface for tracking fully on-chain ACPs (Avalanche Community Proposals).
