Now you can find out how you rank with Chill Factor, Frosty Metric’s new On-Chain Activity Leaderboard. Built by The Tie, Chill Factor is a leaderboard and ranking system that quantifies your engagement across major sectors of Avalanche, including DeFi protocols, Web3 games, SocialFi apps, and NFTs. Try it out here. DeFi Salvor Enters the Avalanche Rush Program Salvor joined the Avalanche Rush incentive program to further develop its high-volume peer-to-peer NFT lending protocol. Salvor offers a dynamic P2P lending and borrowing platform, allowing users to leverage their NFTs and community coins as collateral to secure loans in AVAX, enhancing liquidity and financial flexibility within the Avalanche ecosystem. During Salvor’s Avalanche Rush, users can earn points by creating loan offers, borrowing, listing, bidding, and trading with rewards for strategies allocated in AVAX or Salvor’s native ART token. Learn more here. BitNote Brings Decentralized Encrypted Data Management to Avalanche Where do you store your sensitive information? BitNote, a dApp for encrypted notes, launched on the Avalanche C-Chain. It allows users to securely store and share confidential information on-chain with end-to-end encryption, including passwords, seed phrases, private keys, safe combinations, and more. BitNote brings an existing Web2 product on-chain, removing the need for a centrally controlled database and hosted front end. Encrypted personal data is permanently stored on Avalanche and can be accessed from any device with a browser. Learn more here. Enterprise & Institutions Re Launches Tokenized Reinsurance Fund on Avalanche Re, a real-world asset (RWA) platform specializing in offering tokenized reinsurance, opened its first open-ended reinsurance fund on Avalanche. Re’s redeemable Tokenized Reinsurance Fund aims to enhance transparency & facilitate on-chain settlement in the reinsurance industry while giving more people access to participate in this $1T market. The first investors in the fund include Nexus Mutual, which has an allocation of $15 million, and support from the Avalanche Foundation’s Vista fund. Learn more here. Wine Capital Fund Leverages Oasis Pro and Avalanche to Make Fine Wine an Investable Asset Class The Wine Capital Fund, a closed-end private investment fund specializing in fine wines, has been tokenized by Oasis Pro and listed on Oasis Pro Market’s SEC-registered ATS through the Avalanche C-Chain. By tokenizing the fund interest of the Wine Capital Fund, investors can now more easily participate in the traditionally exclusive $400 billion fine wine market. Learn more here. NFTs & Culture Aviassance Artists in Residence Program Selects Students Officially kicking off the second season of the Artists in Residence program, Avaissance student selections have been announced. The student body represents 70+ artists and creators, set to study five separate disciplines. Handpicked by their cohort’s mentor, the diverse group of students hail from over twenty countries across six continents. Classes begin in June and will be available for the public to view live. Learn more here. Art Platform zeroone Releases New Mobile App Avalanche NFT marketplace zeroone released a new mobile version of their popular platform. Boasting all the same social features as the website version, the app is also easy to use and completely free. Collectors don’t even pay for gas to acquire pieces on the art-focused platform.
