Network Highlights Avalanche: An Economic Analysis of ACP-77 Blockworks Research performed an in-depth analysis comparing the different dedicated blockchain solutions in the market today. The report notes, “In order to capture the next wave of crypto app developers, dedicated blockchain solutions need to offer interoperable, flexible, performant, and cost-effective infrastructure. Not only is Avalanche positioned to become arguably the best platform to build high-performance, interoperable blockchains, our analysis shows that it is theoretically the most cost-effective way to launch a blockchain.” Read the report here. DeFi Data Streams Come to Avalanche Chainlink Data Streams launched on Avalanche through GMX V2, bringing an all-in-one low-latency data solution to the ecosystem. Through Data Streams, Avalanche dApps can access high-frequency market data. Low-latency oracles serve an off-chain stream of market data at a sub-second frequency. At the same time, automation infrastructure monitors transactions, retrieves off-chain data, and bundles data with settlement orders. Learn more here. Enterprise & Institutions Misyon Tokenization Launch Built on Avalanche, Misyon Bank’s Tokenization Platform allows global institutions to tokenize and distribute assets like bonds, funds, shares, and real estate. OtherWorld Launches Digital Collectible Platform on Avalanche OtherWorld launched Solo Leveling: Unlimited (SL:U), a new digital collectibles platform based on the hit webtoon ‘Solo Leveling,’ on Avalanche. SL:U empowers users to actively participate and engage with the narrative through an innovative reward system. Leveraging Avalanche’s technology stack, OtherWorld is building a custom layer 1 blockchain, featuring gasless NFT transactions, and providing a smooth user experience for non-crypto natives. Konami Digital Entertainment Builds an L1 on Avalanche Konami is leveraging Avalanche’s technology to develop a cutting-edge NFT solution, Resella. For gaming devs, Resella allows seamless integration of an inexpensive, performant blockchain into their platforms. Lowering the barrier to entry, builders on Resella can easily design, issue, and trade digital collectibles within their titles. NFTs & Culture Avaissance Season 2 Classes Begin Classes for the second year of the Avaissance art program have begun with a diverse group of industry professionals teaching a range of subjects. Students within the program are learning about Digital Art, PFP projects, Fashion, Computer Generative art, and Photography. The classes are free and open for all to attend. Only enrolled students are able to view video recordings, however, so non-students must view the classes live. The instructional sessions are being run through the Playground Social app and classes conclude at the end of August. Register for the free classes here. Social Art Platform zeroone Transitions to own L1 The completely free to use art exchange, zeroone, has begun its transition to the zeroone Mainnet, an L1 that is part of the Avalanche network. The transition will help the platform, which covers all transaction fees, battle rising costs as more users arrive. In addition to monetary savings, the new L1 offers other advantages. Running their own blockchain means dedicated blockspace, unaffected by other projects. Additionally, the chain can set its own rules for enforcing artist royalties, while also keeping the art free to move across any chain in the Avalanche network, including the C-chain. Infrastructure & Enablement Avalanche Grants: Build with Teleporter The Avalanche Foundation announced the Teleporter Grants program, which provides financial support for projects that build strong use cases for the Teleporter ecosystem.
