Tiltyard Brings Competitive Gaming On-Chain with Subnets

Daily Tournaments, Customization, Low Fees

Say hello to Tiltyard, an ambitious gaming platform launching on Avalanche by the team behind Polygon’s gaming hit, Crypto Raiders. The platform empowers players to participate in poker-like, fully on-chain tournaments and weaves in elements from the daily fantasy sports craze.

What else? Tiltyard aims to merge blockchain games with the online poker and DraftKings model, getting a matchmaking fee for organizing the games. According to co-founder and CEO Nick Kneuper, this business model “could only work with Subnets,” and will expand how people play games and earn from them.

Really Launches AR Experiences on Avalanche

You Really Ready for On-Chain AR?

Really is a platform delivering weekly Augmented Reality (AR) experiences for theatrical release movies, but it wants bigger and better. Using Avalanche’s fast, scalable tech, Really is upgrading its Really Collectible Ticket Program and introducing new fan engagement opportunities for moviegoers around the world.

How so? “Imagine if you could take your old box of ticket stubs, plug them into a computer, and unlock rewards and custom content based on the makeup of your collection,” says James Andrew Felts, CEO of Really. “That’s exactly what we’ve built for fans and we could not have done it without this groundbreaking partnership and support from Avalanche.”

    J.P. Morgan's Onyx and Apollo Global are collaborating to use blockchain, smart contracts, and tokenization methods to revolutionize asset and wealth management.
  2. Citi Tests Foreign Exchange Solution on Avalanche.
    CitiBank leveraged AvaCloud to launch a foreign exchange solution that provides secure, real-time streaming of price quotes, simulated trade execution, and immutable records in a testnet environment.
  3. Avalanche Scales to Meet Spike in Inscriptions.
    Fortunately for Avalanche users, the network scaled to meet the sudden demand and process transactions at a peak of 97.64 transactions per second.
