Hong Kong’s latest move toward embracing Web3 is the establishment of a diverse task force made up of industry and government officials, which aims to “advise on the ‘sustainable and responsible’ development of Web3.”

What else? It’s clear that Hong Kong isn’t just embracing Web3 but also positioning itself as "an attractive place for crypto firms." Even HK Legislative Council member Johnny Ng invited "all global virtual asset trading platforms" to visit HK and apply for a virtual asset provider license.
