Avalanche9000 Unveiling at Summit LATAM

Emin Gün Sirer and John Wu kicked off Avalanche Summit LATAM by officially presenting Avalanche9000 to the ecosystem. Avalanche9000 gives builders the freedom to build whatever they want, to interconnect with an entire ecosystem of applications, and to go to market quickly.

Off the Grid Enters Early Access for PC and Consoles

The exciting new Cyberpunk Battle Royale shooter, Off the Grid, officially entered early access on October 8. Available on PC, Xbox, and PS5, Off The Grid is built on a unique ecosystem that leverages Avalanche’s cutting-edge blockchain technology to power its in-game economy. Currently in testnet, the GUNZ chain has seen 8M+ new wallets created within the first two weeks of early access release.

Total Volume on The Arena Surpasses $100M

The Arena, a SocialFi app redefining how creators connect on Avalanche, has demonstrated remarkable growth over the past year. The platform has attracted over 210,000 registered users, and total trading volumes have surpassed 3.8M AVAX.

The Arena recently launched the $ARENA token, with 10% of the supply airdropped to early users, and the remaining 90% is expected to be distributed monthly over the next year.

Morning Line Club Opens Access to Racehorse Ownership

Morning Line Club (“MLC”) democratizes access to the traditionally exclusive world of racehorse ownership. Utilizing a compliant marketplace on the Avalanche blockchain, MLC may allow members to trade shares--represented as fungible tokens--in a diversified portfolio of vetted thoroughbreds.

Utilizing Avalanche, Morning Line Club is transforming horse racing with blockchain tech and fan-focused experiences.

Coming Soon: The Avalanche Card

In collaboration with Rain Cards, Avalanche has introduced a new Visa card that revolutionizes how users interact with their digital assets. Available in digital and physical formats, the Avalanche Card allows users in the United States and Latin America to spend AVAX, sAVAX, and USDC directly or borrow against their assets for purchases.

This innovative financial tool aims to bridge the gap between traditional finance and cryptocurrencies, offering potentially unprecedented flexibility for everyday transactions and making digital assets more accessible for daily use.

Uptop Builds Cavs Rewards on Avalanche

Fan engagement platform Uptop and the Cleveland Cavaliers (Cavs) announced the launch of their new loyalty engagement program, Cavs Rewards. Powered by the Avalanche network, Cavs Rewards enhances the fan experience and turns fans’ everyday purchases into unforgettable Cavaliers experiences.

Users receive a smart wallet on sign-up to collect achievement badges (i.e., NFTs) that signify status, and rewards unlock game tickets, VIP experiences, merchandise, and memorabilia.

OpenTrade Launches RWA-Backed USDC Yield Product for Littio on Avalanche

Colombian Neobank Littio is addressing the currency devaluation challenge for Latin Americans by offering access to USD-based products via OpenTrade’s yield vaults. Powered by the Avalanche network, OpenTrade offers Littio’s customers yield-bearing savings “pots” with returns backed by U.S. Treasury Bills.

Faraway to build FCHAIN Avalanche L1

Game studio and publisher Faraway is developing FCHAIN, a custom Avalanche L1 Gaming chain. The new chain will support both original titles and games from independent publishers.

Faraway will bring its already impressive game library to FCHAIN, including titles like Shatterline, Villains: Robot Battle Royale, HV-MTL, Legends of the Mara, and more.

Pulsar Launches Mainnet L1

Futuristic MMO RTS Pulsar’s Avalanche L1 officially went live on October 18. With many of its in-game actions on-chain, the title saw 10M transactions in the first week. This comes after a busy testnet phase that clocked over 675M transactions.

Avalanche Ambassadors

Avalanche Ambassador DAO Secures $1.15M to Expand Global Initiatives

Launched in April 2024, the Ambassador DAO received nearly 1,500 applications and selected an initial cohort of 190 ambassadors representing 43 countries across five continents. Since May, they have averaged 25-30 events monthly and collaborated with over 45 universities worldwide.

Initially funded with $10,000 and later raising $110,000 for early activities, this new grant will allow the Ambassadors to expand their global presence even further.

Ambassador DAO Organizes 17 Global Avalanche Gaming Nights in One Week

To support the launch of Off The Grid, the Ambassador DAO organized 17 local community IRL events.

Over 1400 attendees played OTG and were introduced to Gaming on Avalanche. The events amassed 450+ CORE Wallet downloads. That same week, DAO members organized five virtual gaming nights with Discord communities and four separate IRL events, such as technical workshops at engineering schools.
